What about Personal Belief Exemptions? How might this lawsuit eventually pave the road to help those with PBEs (but not Medical Exemptions)?

Rita Barnett Rose Free Now Foundation CounselRita:
The FNF-sponsored lawsuit would be challenging medical exemptions. If it is successful, it would essentially bring back REAL medical exemptions again. The lawsuit would also challenge the restrictions on doctors who WANT to write medical exemptions for students in CA.

Alix MayerAlix:
The personal belief exemption was taken away in 2015. We are considering a case that would bring back the religious exemption. We have not finalized our plans for that one yet. We need a very solid way forward before we will take on a suit.

What about Religious Exemptions, we need those back too.

Alix MayerAlix:
We are considering a religious exemption suit as well. Stay tuned!

How is this different from Del Bigtree’s lawsuit?

Rita Barnett Rose Free Now Foundation CounselRita:
The FNF lawsuit is totally separate from the religious exemption lawsuit associated with Del Bigtree.

Alix MayerAlix:
Del Bigtree and ICAN are planning to file a lawsuit in California to get the religious exemption back. Our lawsuit is to get the medical exemption back for children who need it. We are also considering a religious exemption suit. We are not partnering with ICAN or Del Bigtree on any of these lawsuits. We have probably the most winning medical freedom law team in California who have an incredible track record.

Will teachers and other school staff also be able to benefit from this lawsuit?

Rita Barnett Rose Free Now Foundation CounselRita:
The lawsuit would primarily be focused on challenges to the K-12 vaccine requirements for in-person schooling. That doesn’t apply to teachers/staff. As far as I’m aware, teachers/staff can use Title VII if they want to get religious exemptions to a jab mandate.

Alix MayerAlix:
A win for students would have implications for teachers and caregivers.

Is this only in regards to the COVID-19 vaccine or all vaccines?

Alix MayerAlix:
All vaccines!

Why do you need 300k for a lawsuit? That’s a house. And what is different than the other two lawsuits already filed?

Alix MayerAlix:
Cases typically cost hundreds of thousands on our side compared to millions and tens of millions in our opponents’ legal coffers. We are the little team that could!

How can we help make this lawsuit a GO?

We are super excited to expand our legal offering to include all vaccines in California! We would love to add this new case — our first case to protect children from all vaccines, not just Covid shots.

Legally speaking, our Board will not let us take on this case unless we also service our ongoing work and portfolio of three COVID-19 cases that we are still supporting financially. And we’ve made INCREDIBLE progress toward our $300,000 fundraising goal!

Don’t forget that we were the main legal force that pushed back on the illegal COVID-19 shot mandates at the K-12 level, and showed that it was illegal. We have also sued colleges to force them to offer medical exemptions and drop illegal COVID-19 policies.

An easy way to support our legal work is to join the Legal Warriors Club for a dollar a day, which gives you access to our winning Medical Freedom legal team on Zoom calls where you can ask your Medical Freedom legal questions. We also offer a dedicated newsletter to our Legal Warriors Club members.

Please consider doing both! Donating to our new lawsuit AND joining the Legal Warriors Club. Your funds directly support our lawsuits.

Thank you!
