In a historic pivot that surely sent the USDA food pyramid skidding into a pile of Cheese Whiz, the White House just dropped a 100-page truth bomb on the American public: The Make Our Children Healthy Again (MAHA) Report

Backed by Executive Order 14212, signed on February 13, 2025, by President Trump, the MAHA Commission is a no-holds-barred investigation into why America’s kids are sicker, sadder, fatter, more medicated than any generation in the nation’s history. If you’ve been stockpiling Little Debbies and Prozac, you might want to read this one sitting down.

The Rotten State of Childhood Health

According to the report, over 40% of America’s 73 million children suffer from at least one chronic condition. That includes asthma, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, ADHD, depression, and good old-fashioned obesity. Seventy-seven percent of young Americans are now unfit for military service because their bodies simply can’t take the heat.

Don’t get me started on mental health. Teenagers are reporting record levels of depression. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in teens. The American youth is overmedicated, overstimulated, undernourished, and deeply, tragically unwell.

What’s Making the Kids Sick?

The MAHA Commission names names and points fingers. Four main culprits are called out:

  1. Ultra-Processed Foods (UPFs): A whopping 70% of kids’ calories now come from UPFs. When you hear “UPF,” think “shelf-stable snack sludge masquerading as lunch.” They are food-like substances loaded with sugar, additives, and industrial seed oils. Their rise correlates with the surge in obesity, type 2 diabetes, and mood disorders. They hijack satiety signals, spike insulin, and replace real nutrition with Frankenfood.
  2. Toxic Chemical Soup: Over 40,000 synthetic chemicals swirl through our water, food, and air, many of them untested, unlabeled, or protected by industry-friendly regulatory loopholes. The report highlights microplastics, pesticides, dioxins, and hormone disruptors found in children’s blood, urine, and even breastmilk. Our current regulatory system is a porous fence in a hurricane.
  3. Screens, Sedentary Lives, and Chronic Stress: Kids today spend up to 9 hours a day on screens outside school. They don’t move. They don’t sleep. They don’t socialize. And then we wonder why they’re anxious, overweight, and burnt out before they hit puberty.
  4. The Pharma Free-for-All: From amphetamines to antidepressants to antipsychotics, our kids are drowning in pills. Prescriptions for ADHD meds are up 250% in the last couple of decades. Antidepressant use in teens jumped 1,400%. Antibiotics are unnecessarily overused. The Commission called out the “growth” of childhood vaccines and suggested the medical-industrial complex is long overdue for a conflict-of-interest cleanse.

Corporate Capture: The Elephant in the Exam Room

Here’s where the MAHA Report gets really juicy: it doesn’t just talk about symptoms. It talks about systems.

The food industry funds most of the nutrition science in the U.S. The pharma industry outspends all others in lobbying. Over 80% of medical schools take pharma money. Nine out of ten FDA commissioners go on to work for Big Pharma, and that revolving door means Big Pharma gets FDA approvals and all competing ideas are swept under the rug. And perhaps the most jaw-dropping stat: 95% of the members of the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Committee had financial ties to the food or drug industries.

Enter the MAHA Commission

Chaired by HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy, Jr., and stacked with a team of renegades and reformers, the MAHA Commission is here to dig deep and lay down a blueprint for a Great American Health Reboot. They’re not talking Band-Aids; they’re talking full-blown immune system makeovers, beginning with our children.

The Commission’s founding principle: prevention is the new cure. Real food, clean environments, emotional resilience, and transparency in medicine will lead the way forward. Did you think we would ever see this in our lifetimes?

How to Make America’s Kids Healthy Again

Here’s my take on what a MAHA-aligned future could look like:

  1. Whole Food at the Center of Policy: Reform school lunch programs to use fresh, locally sourced, minimally processed ingredients. Support farmers who grow real food instead of subsidizing corn syrup. And teach kids to cook again. Bring back Home Ec!
  2. Junk Food Taxes & Public Education: Put a modest tax on sugary beverages and ultra-processed snacks. Use that money to fund food literacy programs, farm-to-school initiatives, and public service ads that make dehydrated seaweed snacks more appealing than Cheetos.
  3. Adhere to the Precautionary Principle: When it comes to chemicals in our kids’ environment, we should stop playing wait-and-see. If there’s a chance something could be harmful, regulators should take action early, even if the science isn’t settled yet. Companies should prove their products are safe, not leave it to the public to prove they’re dangerous. We should also look for safer options and make sure regular people, not just corporations, have a voice in these decisions. Better safe than sorry should be the policy.
  4. Move the Kids: Require daily physical activity in schools. Incentivize outdoor play with family tax credits for nature passes, park programs, or youth sports.
  5. End the Overmedication of Childhood: Mandate long-term outcome studies on ADHD and SSRI use in children. Increase access to non-pharma therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and nutrition-based interventions.
  6. Reform Medical Education and Oversight: Remove industry funding from medical schools and continuing medical education. Support independent research into environmental and nutritional causes of disease.
  7. Tackle Pharma and Food Lobbying: Impose post-employment bans for regulators. Cap lobbying expenditures. Investigate financial ties between advisory committee members and the industries they regulate. Do away with the CDC and NIH Foundations!
  8. Empower Parents with Truth: Transparency is power. Require full disclosure of risks and alternatives on medical products, food labels, and environmental toxins. Equip parents to make informed choices without coercion or propaganda.
  9. Bring Mental Health Back to Earth: Restore sleep, play, connection, and purpose as core components of youth wellness. Fund mentorship programs, school counselors, and emotional literacy curricula.
  10. Restore Trust Through Action: Stop gaslighting the public. Stop censoring dissent. Show through actions that children’s health matters more than quarterly earnings. Honor science by funding research that challenges the status quo, not just confirms it.

If the MAHA Report makes one thing clear, it’s that the crisis is real, and it didn’t happen by accident. It was designed. Piece by piece, agency by agency, meal by microwaved meal, we built a system that profits off sick kids. But we can build something better and saner.

This isn’t about going back to the 1950s; don’t get me started on the epigenetic damage we carry from the 1950s and before. It’s about going forward with wisdom. About trading shelf life for soul life.

Healthy children aren’t a political issue. They’re the point of it all.

Our nation was settled and founded by Christians using “Our Creator’s” law & wisdom! It made U.S. number one in the world {Fact!] Then Godless men/Marxist inspired Democrats, [playing god, “using free stuff as bait” took over & owned our once Christian education, Media, and Hollywood, to accomplish the Godless Marxist Chaos method for taking over & enslaving our nation! Ultimately, to bring more souls to Satan! So live with it!

I will not dwell on Caroline Kennedy’s defamation. My youth was equally regretful.
However, Bobby is on the RIGHT PATH now.
More power to him and all those that share our concern for OUR CHILDREN.

Bravo. This is a working manifesto!

    To add:

End factory farms’ addition to angst-causing hormones and antibiotics, etc. in our food (obviously in addition to animal suffering)

Create an insurance product that has ALL of these points at the forefront – reward taking responsibility instead of pills.

Point migration to meaningful jobs and homes on farms – not medicated hydroponic cities.

    Beautiful world rising.
