Alix Mayer’s most recent Mayer Medical Liberty Moment at Liberty Forum focused on the dangers of the REAL ID, in combination with the Palantir contract to merge all your federal data into a single database.

“Yesterday’s vaccine passport I believe is today’s REAL ID. When you went to the DMV to get your REAL ID, you consented to federalize your identity, your biometrics, and potentially, in the future, the government’s ability to track and trace your location because they can add any tracking device they want to the REAL ID once it becomes digitized.”

Vaccination will likely become mandatory and tracked via a digitized REAL ID, which is why Free Now Foundation’s lawsuits aim to expand exemptions and ultimately do away with vaccine mandates.

“44% of people do not have the REAL ID, which means that DHS does not have a critical mass [to connect all your federal data to your federalized, verified identity and biometrics],” she said. Denying DHS the ability to standardize our records through the REAL ID is the best way to delay the surveillance technocracy.

Flying with a Passport Card

If you have a REAL ID and want to exchange it for a regular state driver license, don’t immediately do that, as that could leave you without documentation to fly. First, apply for a passport book and/or passport card so you can travel by air. Once you have a passport and/or passport card in hand, you can fly with either of those. Next you can return your REAL ID at the DMV and go back to a state-issued driver license.

If you don’t have a REAL ID, and you do have a passport, apply for a passport card, which is easy to keep in your wallet. You have to relinquish your passport for 4 – 6 weeks to get a passport card, so plan accordingly, as you are unlikely to have documentation needed to fly while you await the return of your passport and receipt of your passport card.

I went with the Real ID before I understood the implications of having one. I understood it to be a course correction as our standard DL system had become so corrupted with falsities that the only way was to burn it down & start over. While to be nationally recognized, I thought it info would be stored with the issuing state. Realizing my mistake I started researching how to undue it. And yes, I can go back & get a standard DL. Unfortunately there is no system in place to retrieve your data from the Real ID database & clear your info out of the system. So I am uncertain if it makes any difference at this point. My DL # is the same, so would I be protected from having my data exposed if I revert back? Hoping you may have that info as I am sure there are thousands of people out there that are now worried like crazy how this will affect us in the future.

I just interviewed the foremost expert on REAL ID, Twila Brase. She said we never gave our consent to federalize our identity and biometrics, so all we have to do is return the REAL ID and get a standard state DL again. I still share your concern that the data hit the DHS database and has already been hoovered up by Palantir. What returning it DOES do is send a strong message to our state legislators – who signed onto this abomination – to pull our state out of it. The good news is that this is not a partisan issue. We must increase the number who do not have REAL ID to above 50%. Right now it’s 44%. We will release my interview with Twila to our general mailing list next week! Legal Warriors get the interview tonight.
