Free Now Foundation’s Chairman Alix Mayer remembers what it was like and how far people were willing to go to curtail our rights. Here are her reflections today.

From the beginning of Free Now Foundation, when we were known as the California Chapter of Children’s Health Defense, we warned that mask mandates were a placeholder for vaccine passports. We said those passports would become a Digital ID with social credit scores, the first score being your vaccine status. The media called us conspiracy theorists.

In 2021, medical segregation became a reality. Only the vaccinated were allowed inside restaurants and other public spaces. Many of us approached retail and restaurant managers and asked them if they discriminate.

They all said no.

When they agreed they didn’t discriminate, we handed them a non-discrimination sign they could post in their window. The sign stated they don’t discriminate based on age, gender, etc. The last line stated vaccine and masking status. The managers eagerly took the sign, but the expression on every face changed as soon as they got to that part.

Most quickly handed the sign back.

Personally, I was incredulous at the double standard for vaccine and masking status. There was that “new normal science” where an unvaccinated person could walk near a vaccinated person and suddenly and temporarily make that person’s vaccine not work. Of course, after the unvaccinated person walked away, the vaccinated person’s vaccine suddenly worked again. Because, science.

I took this photo in San Francisco with some of our favorite activists. Since none of us could enter a retail store or restaurant to use a bathroom, we staged a photo depicting how the unvaccinated had to relieve themselves when out and about. For any fans of The Who, it’s loosely based on the Who’s Next album cover.

Today, we find ourselves facing a much greater threat—a system I call “Digital Communism”. What if we are forced onto the Digital ID with another plandemic, a climate emergency lockdown, or after a cyber-attack? We already accept social credit scores from Uber, AirBnB, and Yelp. We’ve had a FICO score since 1989.

What if we were on a Digital ID with dozens of social credit scores and we spent all our time trying to game each of them, just to access a public bathroom? Or to drive our electric car? Or to access our bank account or the grocery store?

So many of us were unfriended, de-banked, de-platformed, and censored—based on vaccine status and social credit scores unilaterally used by our censors. If those social credit scores become visible and mandatory, and your neighbors, friends and family become informants and ostracizers—like they were during COVID lockdowns—we will be in serious trouble.

Free Now Foundation is working on one of the most important components of your social credit score: vaccination status. Our lawsuits aim to make it legal to be you, whatever your chosen vaccination status, now and in the future. We work hard in the courts to ensure parents can always call the shots, for their children and for themselves.

Court wins are the strongest and more durable protection for your medical freedom rights. And, for the first time, we have wind in our legal sails due to the new administration and Make America Healthy Again movement. We need to cement these legal wins now. I don’t ever want to face medical segregation again.
