Free Now Foundation is grateful to all of our volunteers: without you, we would be nothing. Free Now Foundation is a bare-bones organization of 98% volunteers, a handful of part-time paid staff, (all of whom volunteer many hours in addition to their committed PT hours), and just two, full-time staff positions.

Thank you for helping us grow. Thank you for helping us reach 90,000 people in our first three years. Thank you for helping us fight against censorship and for medical freedom with 10 lawsuits in the same time-frame.

Free Now Foundation caught up with Jill Hawkins, a full-time mom, massage therapist, activist and our West L.A. Ambassador. Jill co-founded the Free Now Foundation West LA bi-weekly town hall, and founded Santa Monica Freedom.

Jill dove into activism head-first:
In 2015, the CA State Legislature was gearing up to pass SB 277 — a landmark bill which stripped parents of their Constitutional right to a religious objection to vaccines. Jill knew she “had to do something about it,” and started reaching out to folks. Someone connected her to “a woman I had never met before.”

“We drove down to downtown LA together and boarded a rented bus. There were dads, dropping off moms, grandparents, all kinds of people on that bus. It was incredible. We arrived at the Capitol at 7am along with thousands and thousands of concerned parents.”

The hallways were packed with people who overwhelmingly did NOT want SB 277 to pass: and yet, it did.

Jill came back from that trip galvanized to do more.
For the next three years, I barely slept more than three hours a night. I started diving into everything, not just vaccines, and my eyes were opened to what we are seeing now, to the massive corruption that exists.”

Since then, the rest is history. Since 2020, Jill has spent 20 full days at the Capitol, been to “too many school board meetings to count,” put in many hours of community activism working to halt vaccine passports in Santa Monica, attended over 15 rallies, participated in countless boots-on-the-ground activities, and attended every meeting of the West L.A. group.

We are beyond honored to have such dedicated volunteers like Jill.

Thank you, Jill!

Jill, you have been such an integral part of our organization, since we first started in 2020 as the original CA chapter of Children’s Health Defense, and now separately as Free Now Foundation! You are a stalwart mamma bear and freedom fighter and your work and dedication has benefitted all of California and beyond. We would not be the organization we are today without your hard work and dedication. xoxo Alix Mayer, Chairman, Free Now Foundation
