Let’s Get Educated about AB 659

AB 659, The Gardasil Bill — aka the Merck Marketing Letter — was just signed into law and has confusing language. This bill is misleading. You ARE NOT REQUIRED to have your kids vaccinated against Gardasil in order to attend school.

This vaccine is “expected” and “advised,” but NOT REQUIRED.

Thousands of families will receive a misleading, biased and scientifically false letter advising them that the Gardasil vaccine prevents cancer. The letter will coerce families with misleading wording.

Get educated about the history and the dangers of this vaccine, a product so deadly that the Gardasil class action lawsuit “will soon include more than 100 claims. As of the latest MDL statistics report, there are 96 active cases in the Gardasil MDL.”

“Not only is this vaccine ineffective for most strains of human papilloma virus (HPV), it is associated with serious side effects that include increased rates of cancer, and even death.”

“One of the serious adverse events now emerging in vaccinated girls, including teens, is premature ovarian failure, which often results in an inability to bear children. ” (WisnerBaum)*

Free Now Foundation and Gardasil: The Fight

As a non-profit focused on fighting the medical police state, preserving freedom, and making the world a safer place for us all — especially children — Free Now Foundation fought AB 659 incredibly hard this year. We published numerous articles, attended countless rallies, distributed thousands of fliers, sent hundreds of letters and rallied tens of thousands of emails and phone calls to our legislators.

And we WON!  Even though AB 659 was signed into law by Governor Newsom on Fri. Oct. 13, 2023, the legislature heard YOUR voice and changed the language so that the Gardasil vaccine was recommended, but NOT required for advancement to 8th grade or 12th grade in California.

The challenge we face now is educating our friends, neighbors and family.

USE YOUR VOICE!

Talk to your friends, neighbors and family. The language of AB 659 remains intentionally ambiguous, potentially misleading thousands of families — especially those who may be low-income, dependent on Medi-Cal, and/or whose native language is not English — into vaccinating their children (boys and girls) with a pharmaceutical cocktail known as the Gardasil vaccine. Pediatricians and school nurses will sell you this vaccine via a misleading marketing campaign that it “prevents cancer” (it does not!).

This product not only does not prevent cancer, it so deadly that there is a class action lawsuit in the works.

If you’d like more information about the dangers of Gardasil, download the Gardasil document provided by Wisner Baum, who is leading the class action lawsuit.

AB 659, Section 4, states:

  1. *The specific wording in the bill states:
  (a) Pupils in the state are advised, as described in subdivision (b), to adhere to current immunization guidelines, as recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians, regarding full human papillomavirus (HPV) immunization before admission or advancement to the eighth grade level of any private or public elementary or secondary school.
(b) Upon a pupil’s admission or advancement to the sixth grade level, the governing authority of any private or public elementary or secondary school shall submit to the pupil and their parent or guardian a notification containing a statement about the state’s public policy described in subdivision (a) and advising that the pupil adhere to current HPV immunization guidelines, as described in subdivision (a), before admission or advancement to the eighth grade level, in compliance with the notification requirements of Article 4 (commencing with Section 48980) of Chapter 6 of Part 27 of Division 4 of Title 2 of the Education Code.
(c) The notification sent pursuant to subdivision (b) shall also include a statement, as determined by the department, summarizing the recommended ages for the HPV vaccine and scientific rationale for vaccination at those ages, based on guidance issued by ACIP of the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. The notification shall further state the following:
“HPV vaccination can prevent over 90 percent of cancers caused by HPV. HPV vaccines are very safe, and scientific research shows that the benefits of HPV vaccination far outweigh the potential risks.”
(d) This section does not apply to a pupil in a home-based private school.
