This bill, if passed, will provide funding for the increasingly massive rollout of wireless installations and take it away from the much safer, and more reliable and energy-efficient option of WIRED internet connections. Wireless companies will be allowed to apply for FFA (Federal Funding. Account) grants, money that is intended for last mile WIRED infrastructure. Wireless facilities placed in neighborhoods reduce property values and increase the risk of fire.
